James Bills

Owner & Head Trainor

Coach James began his baseball career at the age of four.  As a young player, he got to work with some of the greats as such as Bragg Stockton.  As a teenager his team advanced to the Pony League Regionals.  James continued to play at the varsity level in high school and was named 1st Team All-District and Honorable Mention All State as a pitcher.  He helped lead his team to the State semi-finals.

 Coach James attended Hardin-Simmons University to further his career.

After chasing every young ballplayers dream to make it to the big leagues, James continued on with coaching and teaching players of all ages.  Along with developing overall baseball skills, fielding and dugout etiquette, he specializes in pitching techniques and hitting for power.

Coach James is a former pitching coach for Huston-Tillotson University and St. Dominic Savio High School, He currently runs Texas High School Baseball Recruiter which helps place players in colleges and is an Associate Scout for the New York Mets.  He is the owner and Head Coach of The University of Baseball and a managing partner in Silverstone Sports Management.  Using his experience from years of playing and coaching, James has developed proven methods to maximize players' abilities at all skill levels.

Justin Davis

Head Coach
Coach Justin is the youngest of five in a baseball family and began playing baseball at the age of four.  He quickly developed his baseball skills by playing alongside his brothers and older players.  By the time Justin was nine he was a sought after player by various select baseball programs.  He was part of the Houston Heat High School Select Baseball Team who went undefeated for two straight years.  In high school, Justin played four years of varsity baseball, he was named to the 1st Team All-District, and threw a perfect game in the playoffs capping off an 11-1 season.  Most notably, Justin was voted into the Huntsville High School Baseball Hall of Fame in 2009.  Justin’s success continued as he played for four years in college and as a current player on UB’s Elite Collegiate Summer team.  His experience, knowledge of the game and UB teaching methods enables him to develop players into the best ball players they can be.

Jose Reyes

Head Coach
Jose Reyes is from Puerto Rico. He played his collegiate baseball at Miami University and NYU. In college, Jose played short stop, outfield, and pitcher, and was drafted as a pitcher by the Atlanta Braves. While spending 3 years with the Braves organization and 3 years with the Texas Rangers, Jose played 1 year in the big leagues with the Rangers. Jose has coached select ball for 9 years with lots of success and has helped developed many college players.
